New Year, New You! (New Year, New Me, Too!)
Seasons Greetings Friends, Family, Colleagues, and Clients,
I am beginning to reflect on the year 2023, and wondering if I have yet completed my catharsis and become a butterfly. I’m not sure. I don’t think so. I think I may be wrapped in my cocoon, resting and growing until it’s time to emerge. Where are you? Are you an idea of conception, an egg, in chrysalis, crawling out beginning to spread wings, in flight, or dancing with a mate to begin the cycle of creation again? It seems the only constant of it all is the inevitability of change. We may create change, resist it, embrace it, try to control it, roll with it, deny it or a combination of all of the above, but no matter what, change will simply happen. The cycle of metamorphosis is the basis of life itself, with each stage completely natural and inherently valuable.
This past year is almost too difficult to summarize, it felt like it happened so fast. When I went to pull put the Christmas decorations, I just couldn’t believe it has already been a year since we last ritualized this time of year. What has changed, I asked myself? SO MUCH, I told myself! If you’ve been following me, you know I left my job at Lyra Health in June, when my kid got out of school, so I could spend quality time with him this summer. I was able to sustain my private practice as an Emotional Wellness Coach from home and in collaboration with The Flourish Center one day a week. I took some time and space to integrate all I learned from Lyra and to heal from the heavy emotional and mental labor that was expected of me while I was there. It took longer than I expected to process that experience and to find a renewed sense of purpose without wearing myself out.
Over the summer, I began to sew like a mad woman. It felt so good. I made quilts, bags, clothing, and turned my home office into a sewing studio. I have multiple sewing projects lined up right now and adore my time escaping to my room in the early evening while my husband makes dinner, to work on them. In this personal pursuit of a favorite creative outlet, serving others as an Emotional Wellness Coach no longer makes sense to me and I will use my coaching skills, insights, and encouragement to serve clients instead as a Creativity Coach! I will also be teaching classes, workshops and hosting retreats for Creative Exploration and Expression. What I am most excited to share is that I will also be offering 3 different kinds of custom designed quilts: Keepsake, Memory and Legacy. Details on all of this coming soon!
Another change I will be making starting January 1, 2024 are new prices for my 1-1 Coaching. Yes, I am good at what I do and I’m worth every penny of what you pay your electrician or plumber per hour for! I am an emotional, psychological, spritual electrician and plumber all in one :) 2024 prices: Single Session $150, 3 Sessions $390, 6 Sessions $720
For those of you who wish to take advantage of my 2023 prices, I’m offering a special Holiday Offer for you! If you purchase my 6 session package for $600 by December 31, 2023, you will receive a 7th bonus "Creativity Coaching” session! That means, we will focus an extra session specifically on cultivating and elevating your inner creative genius. Remember, art saves lives!
